CAMP BEUHRING, Kuwait (Mar. 9, 2017) U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), posts security around a tactical vehicle rollover simulator during Humvee Egress Assistance Trainer (HEAT) training as part of a sustainment training exercise at Camp Beuhring, Kuwait, Mar. 9. HEAT training stresses the importance of proper gear placement, wearing seat belts, and personnel placement through rehearsal, preventing potential fatalities and reducing injuries sustained in the event of a rollover during combat operations. The 11th MEU is operating in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts to ensure the free flow of commerce, freedom of navigation and regional security.
