Sgt. Travis Ragsdale waits for his vehicle to be cleared March 28, 2017, at Susong Ri live fire range, Republic of Korea, during Korea Marine Exercise Program 17-6. U.S. and ROK Marines maneuvered assault amphibious vehicles towards the objective during a live fire exercise. The KMEP series of exercises continually evolves to maintain the highest level of readiness in defense of ROK through realistic training. Ragsdale, a Houston, Texas native, is a section leader with Company C, 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion. The company, a reserve unit based out of Texas, is supporting Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force through the unit deployment program.
