Spc. Adam Hatch, 1136th Transportation Company, Maine Army National Guard, checks the underside of a truck for bombs, drugs or any other harmful substance that might cause a threat to the camp, Oct. 7, at Camp Eggers in Kabul, Afghanistan. Hatch, a Mobile Vehicle and Cargo Inspection System operator, and other members of the 1136th provide force protection for Camp Eggers and New Kabul Compound to ensure the safety of the personnel who live and work at these camps.
