The pier will serve a as a disembarkation point for ship-to-shore operations during the combined Republic of Korea – U.S exercise. Also known as OPRex17, the exercise is a bilateral training event designed to ensure readiness and sustain the capabilities which strengthen the ROK-U.S. alliance.
