PACIFIC OCEAN (April 6, 2017) USS Lake Erie (CG 70) Commanding Officer Capt. Darren McPherson, from Katy, Texas, left, Combat Systems Officer Lt. Christina Appleman, from China Lake, Calif., and Operations Officer Lt. Cmdr. Kristofer Tester, from Toledo, Ohio, look for battle damage assessment (BDA) from a consummated harpoon engagement exercise aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Erie.
