US Army Reserve Sgt. Michael Chamberlain, a psychological operations specialist with the 325th Tactical Psychological Operations Company (Airborne), 2nd Psychological Operations Group, carries an armful of issued equipment at the Fort McCoy, Wis. The 2nd Psychological Operations Group combines regional and trans-regional expertise, political-military awareness and cross-cultural communication skills to conduct and support civil-military operations for conventional and special operations forces. Operation Cold Steel is the U.S. Army Reserve’s crew-served weapons qualification and validation exercise to ensure that America’s Army Reserve units and Soldiers are trained and ready to deploy on short-notice and bring combat-ready, lethal firepower in support of the Army and our joint partners anywhere in the world.
