SINGAPORE (April 4, 2017) Sailors lock the anchor chain in place during sea and anchor detail aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108) as the ship prepares to moor at Changi Naval Base, Singapore, for a scheduled port visit. Wayne E. Meyer is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment with the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend U.S. 3rd Fleet command and control functions into the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
