CAMP PENDLETON, Calif., -- Marines load their packs onto the side of an Assault Amphibious Vehicle after conducting an amphibious assault on the Red Beach training compound during PHIBRON-MEU Integration, April 13, 2017. PMINT is designed to integrate Marines with the Navy counterparts to complete mission essential tasks that will prepare the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit for their upcoming deployment later this year. The 15th MEU’s Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion 5th Marine Regiment conducts training exercises to maximize mission readiness and effectiveness to be prepared for any mission anytime, anyplace.
