PACIFIC OCEAN, Calif., -- Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced) attached to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit load the flight deck of the USS San Diego (LPD-22) with several air assets, April 11, 2017. The 15th MEU uses the air assets provided from VMM-161 to transport personnel and equipment from ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore efficiently.
