Sailors on board the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan conduct a foreign object damage walk-down. The FOD walk-downs are conducted several times daily in order to ensure the aircraft on board Ronald Reagan remain in working condition as even the smallest debris can cause catastrophic damage to a jet engine. Ronald Reagan is currently underway conducting tests and certifications in preparation for an upcoming deployment. (U.S. Navy photo by Petty Officer 3rd Class Kevin B. Gray)
