NORFOLK (April 13, 2017) An MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopter assigned to “Vanguard” of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron (HM) 14 prepares to take off from Naval Station Norfolk during a formation and training flight. HM-14 maintains a worldwide 72-hour airborne mine countermeasures rapid deployment posture, a two aircraft forward-deployed AMCM and vertical onboard delivery capability in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
