Executive Officer Capt. Dan Cave of Carrier Airwing Five (CVW-5) makes his 1000th trap landing in an F/A-18F Super Hornet from the "Diamondbacks" of VFA 102 on the flight deck of USS George Washington. Cave completed his first trap 22 years ago. George Washington, the Navy's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier is currently underway helping to ensure security and stability in the western Pacific Ocean.
