Warrant Officer 1 Mickey Argo, an Iowa Army National Guard UH-60 pilot with Company C, 2nd Brigade, 147th Aviation Battalion, of Boone, Iowa, prepares for a “flight” in the Black Hawk Aircrew Trainer, a highly immersive, home-station flight training device for the UH-60M aircraft, at the Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa. Argo was the first Black Hawk pilot to train on the BAT prior to being qualified to fly the UH-60M, a modernized version of the UH-60. Before attending the UH-60M qualification course, Argo spent several days at Camp Dodge getting familiar with the aircraft. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt. Christie R. Smith)
