Warrant Officer 1 Mickey Argo, an Iowa Army National Guard UH-60 pilot with Company C, 2nd Brigade, 147th Aviation Battalion, of Boone, Iowa, prepares for a “flight” in the Black Hawk Aircrew Trainer, a highly immersive, home-station flight training device for the UH-60M aircraft, at the Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa. The UH-60M is a modernized version of the UH-60, complete with an all-glass cockpit, fully-functional autopilot, GPS coupling and a moving map display. To effectively train pilots on the new generation of Black Hawks, the BAT is made with real UH-60M parts. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt. Christie R. Smith)
