Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Appreciation is a small thank you ceremony for all the hard work, dedication, and time victim advocates offer to assist someone who has become a victim. The Department of Defense observes Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month annually in April, with this years theme being "Protecting Our People Protects Our Mission.
