Dalton, commander, Amphibious Force 7th Fleet, addresses the attendees of a change of command ceremony in the hangar bay of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). During the ceremony, Capt. Larry McCullen relieved Capt. Jeffrey Ward as the ship’s commanding officer. Bonhomme Richard, forward-deployed to Sasebo, Japan, is serving forward to provide a rapid-response capability in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
