The Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 197), right, sends a fuel probe to the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) during a replenishment at sea. Essex is the flagship of the permanently forward-deployed Essex Amphibious Ready Group and is underway for a scheduled patrol in the western Pacific Ocean.
