Brig. Gen. Charles Yriarte, the Assistant Adjutant General, Oregon Army National Guard, welcomes home Capt. Bob Baca, 162 Engineer Co. Commander, 1249 Engineer Battalion, at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Wash., Oct. 29, after a year-long deployment to Afghanistan. Baca is one of more than 80 Oregon National Guard Engineers to return from Afghanistan, where the unit provided convoy security, route clearance, and infrastructural assistance.
