PACIFIC OCEAN (May 1, 2017) An F/A-18E Super Hornet from the “Golden Dragons” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 192 takes off from the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during flight operations in the western Pacific Ocean. The U.S. Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
