FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Maj. Gen. Walter L. Miller Jr. speaks with Marines providing a static display of a Mine Resistant-Ambush Protected vehicle and a Light Armored Reconnaissance vehicle aboard the USS New York during Fleet Week Port Everglades May 5, 2017. The II Marine Expeditionary Force leadership, Miller, Sgt. Maj. Richard D. Thresher and Command Master Chief Russell W. Folley, toured the USS New York because a group of their Marines and Sailors are aboard it participating in fleet week. During his tour Miller ensured he spoke to each Marine he came across.
