Spc. Robert Spinelli, a wheeled vehicle mechanic with the 110th Support Maintenance Company, Massachusetts Army National Guard, fills a jug with water at Fort Irwin, Calif., on May 3, 2017. During a three-week rotation at the National Training Center, Soldiers from the 110th were called out to a crash site involving a water buffalo which had to be emptied in order to recover the vehicle it was attached to. On a near-100 degree day in the Mojave Desert, Soldiers took advantage of this and used the water to cool down by drinking from the stream and putting their heads underneath it.
