The purpose of COMPTUEX is to ensure that the MEU can plan and execute a variety of operations at a moment’s notice, ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore flights are critical to the MEU’s transportation capabilities and allow the 15th MEU to operate in any corner of the globe.
