PACIFIC OCEAN — Marines with 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit prepped and loaded a AV-8B Harrier for a training operation during Composite Training Unit Exercise aboard USS America (LHA 6), May 8, 2017. The Harrier departed the flight deck of the USS America for a integrated live fire training mission. With short and long range capabilities, the MEU is capable of providing security and supporting troops on the ground with aerial support anywhere at a moments notice.
