170516-N-ZW825-089 REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE (May 16, 2017) Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Courtney Samuels, an Atlanta native assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104), works with a student at the Genesis School for Special Education during a community relations event. Sterett is participating in the International Maritime Defense Exhibition 2017 (IMDEX-17). IMDEX-17 is hosted by the Republic of Singapore and is one of the largest maritime exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region, featuring a trade show and a series of multilateral exercises and exchanges.
