Combat Center leadership learn about the different parts of a bow and arrow from Creg McDonald, liaison to Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command, Joint Improvised Threat Defeat Organization, during the opening of the Combat Center’s new archery range on Range 3A aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., May 11, 2017. The idea was proposed through the installation’s newly-implemented Facebook group, Make the Stumps Better, which is an initiative proliferated by Combat Center Commanding General, Brig. Gen. William F. Mullen III, in order to solicit opinions and concerns from Combat Center patrons and determine actionable change from leadership.(U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Thomas Mudd)
