SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND – Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, the Logistics Combat Element for the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, provide security from a Humvee while conducting convoy operations during Composite Training Unit Exercise on San Clemente Island, May 5, 2017. CLB-15 provides expeditionary combat logistics to the 15th MEU in order to enable accomplishment of all assigned missions across a wide spectrum of conventional and selected maritime special operations. COMPTUEX is the second at-sea training exercise used to sharpen command and control skills while challenging participants to adapt and respond to a robust and dynamic “red force”.
