Lance Cpl. John Rudolph fires a quick burst on an M249 squad automatic weapon, May 18, 2017, at the Australian Army Skills at Arms Meeting, in Puckapunyal, Australia. The meet brought together 20 countries for two weeks to compete, learn and build better alliances. The competition, which was broken into more than 60 individual matches, featured the rifle, pistol and machine gun. Rudolph, a native of Lima, Ohio, is a machine gunner with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment. The battalion is deployed to Australia with Marine Rotational Force Darwin.
