Bill Stacy, metals inspector with the Non Destructive Testing Facility at Production Plant Barstow, shines a blacklight on a part being examined for possible cracking, May 16. The fluorescent green dye on the part is pulled to any imperfections by a strong electromagnetic current being passed through the part. The NDT Facility is just one of several tests performed by the Quality Control Department at the Marine Depot Maintenance Command facility located aboard the Yermo Annex of Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif.
