Almost six hundred people arrived by car, bicycle, or on foot and waited under the shade of Army tents for the free medical services being provided in Dangriga, Belize, on May 22, 2017. The medical readiness and training exercise provided optometry, dental, OB/GYN, family practice, internal medicine and pediatric services as part of Beyond the Horizon 2017, a U.S. Army South partnership exercise with the Government of Belize that consists of five construction projects and three health care events in communities across Belize.
