(May 25, 2017) East Mississippi Electric Power Association (EMEPA) CEO Randy Carroll, left, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Renewables Manager Steve Noe, Naval Air Station (NAS) Meridian Commanding Officer Capt. Scott Bunnay, Department of the Navy’s (DON) Resilient Energy Program Office Executive Director John Kliem and Silicon Ranch Corporation (Silicon Ranch) President & CEO Matthew Kisber attend the ground breaking ceremony for the new solar generation facility on board NAS Meridian. The DON, TVA, EMPA and Silicon Ranch partnered to develop the solar generation facility on NAS Meridian. The 38-acre facility will generate up to six megawatts of direct current power.
