Petty Officer 1st Class Michael Pape, Maritime Civil Affairs and Security Training Command Mobile Training Team, with residents and a staff member of the Rainbow Foundation orphanage in Sihankoukville, Cambodia. Pape joined sailors from the Royal Cambodian Navy in donating toys, food, school supplies and backpacks, linens and medical supplies to the facility, which provides residence to boys ranging from 5 to 15. The MTT deployed to Cambodia over the summer to provide security and leadership training, as well as instructor mentoring to more than 250 RCN sailors. Additionally, the MTT helped the RCN implement a training management system in preparation for the accession of over 400 new sailors, the first new recruits to the RCN since 1993.
