Sgt. Maj. (Ret.) Jane Decker, the last division personnel sergeant major for the 98th Training Division (Initial Entry Training), looks back at her unit photo from basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. in 1974. Decker was originally part of the Women’s Army Corps. A few years later, Decker transferred to the U.S. Army Reserve and served over 40 years as a Citizen-Soldier.
