U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. John Brody fires the M249 down range, May 22, 2017, at the Australian Army Skills at Arms Meeting in Puckapunyal, Australia. The competition brought together 20 teams from countries around the world to participate and learn from one another. AASAM incorporated various combat shooting drills to test the skills of each country. Brody, a Springfield, Virginia native, is a rifleman with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment.
