U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Zach Love fires the M249 alongside the rest of the Marine competitors, May 22, 2017, at the Australian Army Skills at Arms Meeting in Puckapunyal, Australia. The competition brought together 20 teams from countries around the world to participate and learn from one another. AASAM incorporated various combat shooting drills to test the skills of each country. Love, a native of Leawood, Kansas, is a machine gunner with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment.
