Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Javier Vega, left, Lt. j.g. Chris Widhelm and Army 1st. Lt. Paul Lataille plan a base expansion project on a Swedish and American compound. The three are part of a pre-deployment site survey team working with the International Security Assistance Force in Northern Afghanistan. The workers primarily consisted of Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 40.
