Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 40 work with Afghani contractors to place concrete for helicopter landing pads at forward operating base Khilaguy. The concrete landing pads will provide fast air support for medical evacuations and will close the distance and reduce the time it takes for wounded to get medical care.
