170603-N-ZQ712-0045 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 3, 2017) Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Anthony Branger (right), a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd Class Sean Michael Owens, a native of Fontana, California, trouble shoot the computer systems of an MH-60 Seahawk assigned to the “Wildcards” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23 in the hangar bay of the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6). America is currently underway conducting Certification Exercise (CERTEX) as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment. The America Amphibious Ready Group is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), and America.
