A U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II maneuvers into position near a KC-10 Extender from the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron to receive fuel while flying over Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Nov. 25. The A-10 has excellent maneuverability at low air speeds and altitude, and is a highly accurate weapons-delivery platform.
