170601-N-LC424-0744 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 1, 2017) Chief Master-at-Arms Jason Pingeton, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, assigned to the administrative department of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), prepares to board a rigid-hull, inflatable boat via the pilot’s ladder during an anti-piracy exercise on the ship’s boat deck. Pearl Harbor is currently underway, conducting a Certification Exercise (CERTEX) as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment.
