Mark Heyliger, the senior non-commissioned officer with Company B, 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, receives a parachute for a jump Dec. 1, 2010, at Fort Bragg, N.C. When performing jumpmaster duty, Heyliger wears the nickname of his grandfather, 1st Lt. Frederick “Moose” Heyliger, who was made famous in the World War II miniseries, Band of Brothers.
