Observer Coach / Trainers assigned to Army Reserve Medical Command’s 7212th Medical Support Unit monitor medical team patient care and manage vitals and responses of manikins.
Soldiers assigned to the 807th Medical Command’s 228th Combat Support Hospital based out of San Antonio, Texas attended the three-day training exercise on 2-4 Jun. at the the Mayo Clinic Multidisciplinary Simulation Center located in Rochester, Minnesota.
The MCMSC TeamSTEPPS Exercise, hosted by Medical Readiness and Training Command, provides Army Reserve medical units and healthcare providers the opportunity to work together in a realistic setting that replicates theater-specific injuries and focuses on teaching and incorporating TeamSTEPPS into Army Reserve processes.
