Brig. Gen. Robin B. Akin, the commanding general of the 3rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), briefed Gen. James D. Thurman, the commanding general of the U.S. Army Forces Command, during his visit to Fort Knox, Nov. 24. During his visit, Thurman received briefings on Army Force Generation management, upcoming command and control challenges, and the 3rd ESC’s progressive training strategy.
