Sailors assigned to the guided-missile frigate USS Hawes disembark the ship for the last time during the ship's decommissioning ceremony at Naval Station Norfolk. After more than 25 years of service, Hawes will be towed to the Naval Inactive Ships Maintenance Facility in Philadelphia, where it will be retained as a logistic support asset.
