A military explosive detection dog by the name of "Bandit" deployed with Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, awaits a command from his handler as they practice their daily routine aboard Forward Operating Base Nolay, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Dec. 8. Dog handlers attached to 3/5 train their dogs on a routine basis to better prepare them for their tasks in support of the International Security Assistance Force.
