A tractor deployed with 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), levels out the land in preparation to emplace a bridge across a canal outside Patrol Base Almas in the Sangin District, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Dec. 9. The 8th ESB Marines conduct engineering operations for coalition forces and local nationals in support of the International Security Assistance Force.
