FREEPORT, Bahamas (June 16, 2017) The color guard parades the colors of the U.S. and the Bahamas prior to the reception ceremony aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima was in Freeport for a scheduled port visit to continue growing the long-standing relationship between the U.S. and the Bahamas and allow the ship’s crew to experience the culture of the Caribbean nation.
