170617-N-XK398-109 PHILIPPINE SEA (Jun. 17, 2017) Rear Adm. Marc Dalton, commander, Expeditionary Group 7, takes a tour through the Combat Information Center (CIC) aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) as part of the interoperability with the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group. The visit is meant to ensure the enhanced readiness of the John S. McCain to rapidly integrate with an amphibious task force to provide increased capability for amphibious operations in support of crisis response or disaster relief.
