USCGC MIDGETT, At Sea - Members of the Djiboutian Navy discuss boarding tactics with the USCGC Midgett (WHEC 726) boarding team during a professional exchange and law enforcement tactics exercise in Djibouti. Midgett, a 378-foot high endurance cutter homeported in Seattle, has been underway since September and is currently conducting Maritime Security Operations under Combined Task Force (CTF) 150 in the 5th Fleet area of Operations. During the joint training, Midgett's boarding team exchanged ideas and helped instruct the Djibouti boarding team on safe weapons handling, handcuffing techniques and general boarding practices.
