Rounds fired from a M240G machine gun aboard an UH-1Y Huey make contact with a floating target during an aerial sniper drill June 29, 2017. The drill, conducted by Marines assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced) and Maritime Raid Force, focuses on proficiency in engaging targets from an aircraft. The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit is underway with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
