Seaman Darryl Williams, quartermaster, from Portsmouth, Va., performs the duties of a bow flagman on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan during a replenishment at sea with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Guadalupe. The bow flagman communicates to the bridge the speed and distance between the stern of the two ships. USNS Guadalupe is one of many ships that make up the Military Sealift Command's Naval Auxiliary Force, which are the supply lines to U.S. Navy ships at sea, providing fuel, food, ordnance, spare parts, mail and other supplies. Ronald Reagan is currently underway preparing for an upcoming deployment.
